In this course, you will learn step by step how to write and run Python code.

The course is designed for beginners. The field of applications are geoenvironmental sciences.

You will learn:

* How to run Python code in Jupyter Notebooks
* Basic concepts: variables, data types, and operators
* Control structures: “if”, “for”, “while” and functions and modules
* Working with lists, dictionaries, and strings
* Introduction to libraries for mathematics and science (Numpy, Pandas, Matplotlib, OpenCV... 

Workshop language will be English
